wearing heels is an essential when wearing an abaya. Mom always complains when i wear flats with an abaya, she says i look like a child trying to look like a lady. the reason i wear flats all the time is that i can never find heels that are comfortable for walking all day. i started wearing wedges maybe 2 years ago and i love them although theyre not as comfortble as flats, theyre better than pumps!
this summer when i was packing, i packed around 5 flats and no heels, my friend told me to at least take one and i went thouh my closet to take the comfiest! which was my Steve Madden wedges <3. i left for a whole months and wore the heels twice only.
so heres the question, what is the best alternative to heels for the summer? wedged sneakers!
i was browsing some blogs in the summer, and saw most of the blogs were posting about the wedged sneakers and especially the Marc By Marc Jacobs sneakers. not only that, i was walking in the streets of paris and every two stores of shoes had wedged sneakers on the window display, a sign maybe?
an alternative to MBMJ is Topshop ! one of my favorite high street stores!
