So we went to Zara yesterday to look around and hunt for some cool items because lets face it summer sale is everywhere and you can never say no to a gorgeous dress or a pair of kickass heels ;p I only had time to stop by Zara and picked up these items .. so what did you purchase recently ?

Peach makeup looks fresh and very dewy for the summer. I think peach gives you a simple and a stunning look yet so fresh for the summer. Whether its a lipstick, a blush, or a nail polish peach is a pretty summer color!

Lana Del Ray X H&M

H&M has defiantly been the place to shop for the past year, not only they had amazing collaborations, but the next two collaborations will be a TDF collection which i will most definitely get my hands on. H&M's campaigns has always been edgy, but never really knew the models. Lana Del Ray was recently signed with H&M and shell be the face of H&M and will be out in september.

She looks flawless !

New Trend: Wedged sneakers

wearing heels is an essential when wearing an abaya. Mom always complains when i wear flats with an abaya, she says i look like a child trying to look like a lady. the reason i wear flats all the time is that i can never find heels that are comfortable for walking all day. i started wearing wedges maybe 2 years ago and i love them although theyre not as comfortble as flats, theyre better than pumps!

this summer when i was packing, i packed around 5 flats and no heels, my friend told me to at least take one and i went thouh my closet to take the comfiest! which was my Steve Madden wedges <3. i left for a whole months and wore the heels twice only.
so heres the question, what is the best alternative to heels for the summer? wedged sneakers!

i was browsing some blogs in the summer, and saw most of the blogs were posting about the wedged sneakers and especially the Marc By Marc Jacobs sneakers. not only that, i was walking in the streets of paris and every two stores of shoes had wedged sneakers on the window display, a sign maybe?

an alternative to MBMJ is Topshop ! one of my favorite high street stores!

Ramadan: Working out Tips

1. Dont use Ramadan as an excuse to not exercise.

2. The best time to hit the gym during Ramadan is after sunset ( after your first meal post fasting).

3. Adjust Intensity; Adjust the weights you usually use or the reps.

4. " Hydration, hydration, and more hydration" you should be able to drink at least 2-3 liters while you can. Not at once but trying sipping water while watching Tv or something!

5. " Portions, portions, portions!!!" Dont go all out on food in the evenings! Have portions of protein, carbs, and veggies.

Make Up Finds: KIKO Makeup Milano

Ive been introduced to this brand by my dear friend S last year. shes been talking about their lipsticks non stop. so i thought i should get some and try them.

i was in Paris a few days ago and met some friends, when we were walking around i saw the store "KIKO milano" and had to go in !

i looved their lipsticks and lip liners and they were on sale!
